Truthfully, my ability to escape--even if only for ten minutes--into Mother Nature's wild embrace is like a calming cool breeze, nudging me out of a digital daze.

My regular trail-treks outdoors, in addition to introducing me to Gorpcore, have also given me more time to reflect on life. In nature, I regularly find my perspective oscillating from profundity to childlike wonder and back again. I am always inspired.

While the glow of the digital web entices me to no end, no online thing has ever taken my breath away so completely as the simple beauty of a spider's web dangling between two trees, wet with morning dew & glowing iridescent in the sun.
